GHSP further positions itself as a technology leader and employer of choice with the addition of new executive

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – GHSP, a global supplier in the automotive and high-end appliance industries, announced today the hiring of human resources veteran Arnee Gomez as the company’s first-ever chief human resources officer (CHRO). Gomez joins GHSP’s leadership team to further develop the organization’s corporate culture and talent pipeline as it continues to advance its reputation as a technology innovator.

Gomez comes to GHSP and West Michigan after building her career on the West Coast with technology leaders like Crane Aerospace & Electronics and Danaher. With more than 20 years of experience leading recruiting and HR efforts, Gomez brings expertise in acquiring talent within the technology, manufacturing and electronics spaces.

“The innovation taking place within GHSP is energizing, and I’m confident we’re on the trajectory to drive innovation across our industries,” Gomez said. “There is a strong and motivated team in place here, and I look forward to working with the leadership team to help continue the momentum taking place each and every day at GHSP.”

The CHRO position was implemented to accelerate the company’s global business strategy through talent acquisition, development and engagement. In her role, Gomez will be charged with recruiting innovators to join the company’s efforts in introducing new technologies and product ideation within the automotive and premium appliance industries.

“Arnee understands the importance of developing a comprehensive human capital strategy, one that accelerates GHSPs overall growth strategy.  She will be a key partner to me and the entire team.” said Tom Rizzi, GHSP CEO. “She’s been immersed in top HR environments for years, and we’re fortunate to have her join the GHSP team. Looking toward the next decade, GHSP is expecting to experience rapid growth, and I believe Arnee will be a critical player in our expansion and evolution.”

Gomez joins GHSP’s leadership team on the heels of a restructuring of the company’s executive team that included five new positions – a chief technology officer, presidents of China and Diversified Markets, a general counsel and a marketing director.
