Chris Atkins

Chris joined GHSP in 2021 and serves as the Director of Operations with responsibility for manufacturing strategy and execution, as well as Advanced Manufacturing.  He enjoys the challenge of industrializing the new product and process innovations that GHSP is recognized for.

Prior to joining GHSP, Chris had a long career in the automotive industry at Yanfeng (previously Johnson Controls and Prince Corporation), most recently as Director of Operations.  During this tenure Chris held many different roles of increasing responsibility in Operations Leadership.  These roles have given him the opportunity to gain strong exposure to many different manufacturing processes and products.  Chris enjoys both the challenges and rewards that are associated with operations responsibility in a strong technology and innovation driven company.

Chris and his wife Casey are both natives of Michigan and have four amazing children (a son and three daughters) who are active in sports.  Together they love to travel, camp, and enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer.

A loyal Spartan, Chris graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering; as well as continued master level studies in Engineering Management at Western Michigan University.
